Wasatch Wing and Clay

Had the opportunity last week to visit Wasatch Wing & Clay located in Eagle Mountain, Utah. I was impressed with the facility and the beauty of the location. The preserve is tucked up against the mountains south of Salt Lake City Utah and immediately adjacent to Camp W.G. Williams Utah Army National Guard training Center.   The WW&C facility is patterned around upland bird hunting and makes for a memorable shotgun outing in or out of bird season.

Year round sportsman can enjoy five stand, trap, skeet, and sporting clays. Facilities also include a 1,000 yard known distance range, a .22 range, archery range, and a currently under construction pistol range. In addition, there is a handsome lodge right in the center of it all.

In season, pheasant and other game bird are released into the hunting areas of the 7,000 acre preserve. Guides and dogs are also available for hire to ensure a productive hunt.

The management and staff are fantastic to work with and want everyone who visits to have an enjoyable experience. To that end WW&C also supports a youth shooting program. Youth primary age through 18 years can participate on Tuesday evenings in trap and skeet with certified instructors and then compete, if they choose, in teams at local and area competitions.

Wasatch Wing & Clay is a fantastic facility in a beautiful location just 15 minutes west of I-15 that has something for every shooting sportsman and their family. Can’t wait to go back.
